Stay with us and hike the beautiful trails of New World Island. We will provide all information you need. This one is right next door and offers a beautiful scenery of Friday's Bay when you reach the top. 

Located on Route 340, this trail can be hiked all year! You can even snowshoe in the Winter.   A full view of Fridays Bay is visible when you reach the top deck! It's approximately 1.4 km out & back and it's just walking distance from the cottages.

There's a 10 minute drive from Fairbanks to Summerford and you'll pass this town on your way to us. 

Gary's Convenience has it all. Groceries, Liquor Express, Gas, Propane, Greco and more! Also in the area is New World Island PharmaChoice & Farr's Foodland both are just minutes away.

1. Take a hike on the Summerford Walking trail. Venture to the top of the lookout or branch out on some new trails. With snowshoeing in the Winter this trail has it all! This is a good trail for anyone with an hour to spare and pretty much anyone can do it. Elevation gain is at most 200'.
2. Ice skating rink, softball field (which doubles as a dog park, just pick up that poo) and their very own community garden with a lookout and sitting area!

 A hiker's paradise!

Rockcut Twillingate Trails are just simply amazing! The best part is if you’re not a hiker you can still take in so much beauty and explore the beaches in just a few minute's stroll! 

Along these trails, there’s almost as much to do as there is to see. Spend some time at the beautiful beaches accessed by staircases and search for any treasures the surf has uncovered. 

As you walk along the winding trail, stop to look for a Whale’s tail or an Iceberg.
